Ford Flex ABS-Airbag Computer and Brake
Problems

Ok the problem
starts with, I was having some break issues
so I replaced the pads, calipers, and brake
hoses. The issue continued so I then
replaced the calipers, pads, and rotors. The
issues is that the right wheel is locking
up. I is over heating and applying to much
pressure. This issue gets worse the more I
brake and the longer I drive. I had it into
a shop they could not find anything wrong.
Eventually they replaced the ABS motor and
junction block. Things seemed to be fine but
then the problem came back. While driving
one day the brakes acted up and then the ABS
light finally came on and has been on since.
Tried to get the ABS code read but every
place says their scanner can not connect to
the ABS brain and that I need to replace it.
So yesterday I replaced the ABS brain. The
light has not gone off and I still have the
same issue, the right wheel is still acting
up. I had it into a local shop yesterday and
we did a ohm test on the DTE connector to
the ABS connector, which we found the
information from his Mitchell source.
Everything that we tested points to the ABS
brain box being junk, but we just replaced
it. While we had the code reader connected
we tried to read all the other systems and
what do you know the code reader can not
connect to the Airbag computer either. The
Code reader is a Snap-On, brick. He has used
it for years and he is not the only place
that has told me they could not connect the
the ABS computer. The ABS light is on but
the Airbag light is not. The Airbag light
comes on when you start the truck but after
the self check it goes off.
If anyone has any leads or information I
would really appreciate. Other then this
issue the truck it great. I would love to
keep it but I can not afford to replace
brakes every 3k miles or so.
